The Flexibility Area of the Global Economy is Shrinking
Recently, many countries have managed to alleviate the most painful effects of the energy shock caused by the war in Iran. However, this does not prevent prices from remaining high and economic risks from increasing. Fluctuations in energy prices threaten the global economic balance, while countries are trying to cope with these challenges by developing various strategies. In this challenging process, the necessity for countries to diversify their energy sources and to invest in alternative energy becomes prominent. However, the current high prices and increasing uncertainties weaken consumer confidence and threaten economic growth. All of this necessitates the development of effective policies by governments and the business world. As a result, the global economic outlook is becoming increasingly complex. The continuation of fluctuations in energy prices tests the economic flexibility of countries while also necessitating international cooperation. Economists predict that more uncertainties may be encountered in the upcoming period, and this situation requires a reassessment of both public and private sector strategies.
