Energy analyst Ashley Kelty stated that the first shipment is very low and will have no effect on prices. Additionally, he emphasized that the processes required for transporting the shipments will take time, which could create political pressures ahead of the upcoming midterm elections. US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated that the agreement would be beneficial for Americans, while analysts predict that this situation could cause disruptions in the global supply chain. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy described Trump's agreement as a weak decision, noting that it could pave the way for Russia to continue its attacks on Ukraine.
